The design for this project had to adhere to the aesthetic sensibilities of the Tibetan monks who will inherit this place on completion. The project consists of a cluster of buildings designed as a residence of monks and students, service buildings and a temple. All the structures are made of reinforced concrete with the roof structure in steel.
